NH NeuroSpine Institute is excited to offer a unique opportunity for personal pilates instruction.
Our program is open to anyone who is interested in bettering their health.
Pilates at NHNSI is an individually-centered program with one-on-one instruction from our certified pilates instructor, Nicole Feinauer. Nicole instructs mat pilates in our comfortable and relaxing setting.
We offer private rooms as well as a large gym for optimal use of space and function during your private pilates instruction.

What is Pilates?
Pilates is an exercise program used to improve overall core strength, flexibility and posture. The mind and body are brought together to achieve these goals through specific principles including:
• Flowing Movement
• Breathing
• Isolating Muscles
• Concentration
• Precision
Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates to be done either on a mat or with specialized machines. It is a versatile form of exercise that can benefit anyone – from beginner to elite athlete, young teenager to senior citizen.
What will Pilates do for me?
• Provide postural awareness to reduce pain as a result of poor posture
• Teach effective breathing to release excessive tension and rigidity
• Retrain the use of deep abdominal and pelvic control-based muscles to prevent
and reduce low back pain
• Help to focus the mind on the body and the way it moves
• Teach the body to move freely and efficiently
Pilates transforms the way the body looks, feels and performs, allowing greater enjoyment and ease of daily activities and sports with a reduced chance of injury.
What are the benefit of private Pilates instruction?
Like any type of activity or class, there are great benefits to receiving personalized instruction compared to group sessions. Private lessons allow clients to have a more customized plan modified for their needs, rather than a basic, general plan applied in group sessions.
Most participants will have varying degrees of muscle capabilities in the beginning and throughout the course of their Pilates instruction. An individual setting allows targeting and modification to improve areas of strength rather than a generalized routine meant to broadly encompass all stages and abilities of large groups.
Private pilates lessons have a much greater benefit than large group sessions, especially for beginners or those with prior injuries.
How do I get started?
Sessions are typically once a week (55 minutes in duration) and will include:
• The creation of a customized program at your first session
• One-on-one with your personal pilates instructor
Cost:
$65 for individual sessions
Or choose from our discounted packages:
$300 for 5 sessions
$550 for 10 sessions
Packages are valid for 3 months from the date of the first session.
Because your session will be followed by other private, scheduled sessions or physical therapy appointments, a charge will be accrued for missed sessions or any cancellation not received at least 24 hours before scheduled time.
If for any reason you are unable to make it to your session on time, we will accommodate as best we can, but understand you will most likely have a a reduced session time.
